SoftNAS Cloud Enterprise
SoftNAS Cloud® Enterprise is a software-defined, full-featured enterprise cloud NAS filer for primary data storage that enables existing applications securely migrate to the cloud without re-engineering. With enterprise-class NAS features like: high-availability, deduplication, compression, thin-provisioning, snapshots, replication, cloning, encryption (at rest and in transit), LDAP and Active Directory integration, and support for NFS, CIFS, iSCSI or AFP storage protocols, SoftNAS Cloud Enterprise protects mission-critical and primary, active/hot data. SoftNAS Cloud Enterprise offers the broadest range of storage options in terms of price vs. performance and backend storage selection, on-demand at petabyte scale across the AWS and Azure Marketplaces or on-premises.
SoftNAS Cloud Enterprise comes in three different performance categories in capacities of 1TB, 20TB, 50TB, 250TB, 500TB and 1 petabyte.
General Purpose Edition
For workloads with basic requirements for network bandwidth, caching, deduplication, encryption and RAID protection, SoftNAS Cloud® Enterprise General Purpose Edition balances cost vs. memory and CPU resources. SoftNAS Cloud Enterprise General Purpose Edition is a good starting point for Proof of Concept (POC) trials and general workloads.
High Performance Edition
For read-intensive workloads needing larger memory-based read cache and additional CPU cores, SoftNAS Cloud® Enterprise High Performance Edition improves performance for deduplication, encryption, compression and RAID compared to SoftNAS Cloud Enterprise General Purpose Edition. Read-intensive workloads should leverage the use of Level 2 read cache or use direct-attached SSD storage.
Extreme Performance Edition
For very demanding workloads requiring thousands of concurrent connections and maximum IOPS, SoftNAS Cloud® Enterprise Extreme Performance Edition utilizes maximum CPU power, memory and a very high speed network connection for high speed data transfers. SoftNAS Cloud Enterprise Extreme Performance edition prioritizes performance and speed over cost, ensuring optimal workload performance.
